Dog Days of Summer Reminder!
We have just a few spots left! I am so grateful the response from everyone. We are so excited about how the studio has grown and we are adding another employee, Whitney started a couple months ago and we are adding Sarah to give you the best customer service! I will post photos of them soon.
Mock Dock
I think that is what they call there beautiful Tybee house. It is this old house that has been in the family for about 100 years, it is a dream to photograph at. This family comes and stays at Mock Dock every year, we stayed next door for a week and you really do not want to leave Tybee once you are there, it isn't fancy but it is peaceful and simple. I love that. And the photo of the mom and her son, that is what I look forward to with Alexa everynight.

Mary + Josh
This wedding was another tear jerker for myself and Lisa. I love the photo of her and her dad, they were both crying when they saw each other and made it hard to focus my camera with the tears coming out of my eyes. I am a sucker for dad's and there girls since mine is so special to me. (Mom you are too!) Josh and Mary had a fire at there reception place, a thunderstorm rolled through during their ceremony, but nothing was going to upset Mary because she was just so thrilled to marry such a nice guy. Have a great time in Mexico.

Julie + Dean
Julie delivered Alexa and is a great nurse who helped me through it! So three years later I photographed her wedding, (which was not painful) on a beautiful 60 foot yacht with her sweet husband and about twenty close friends and family. What a way to spend a sunset, tough job I know, but someone has to do it! And what a view they have from their house on Dutch Island, can you tell I want a house on the water so bad! Congradulations!

Anne + Lanier
Anne and Lanier were married last Saturday at Isle of Hope with a reception that followed at the Telfair. What a beautiful day and couple. The bride grew up on Bluff Drive which is just heaven, I can't help but put my imagination in full gear and picture myself and family running around the dock to our boat. Everything just was so perfect for there day and they were a dream to work with. Thank you guys, and it was a pleasure to get to know you.

We might break the rules
During sessions I will sometimes get in trouble by the three year old telling them to jump on the bed, they will immediately tell me we are not suppose to do that, I have to tell them we get a special pass for photos. The nice thing about photographing children for so long is that I am alot less worried if the parents think I am crazy, I use to be really shy about that, now I have no shame. Plus the parents are now my age, eek. I am getting side tracked this morning, I photographed this lovely family the other day, dad is about to head to Iraq to be a surgeon in the hospital there for six months. I can not imagine, and am always so thankful for those who do sacrifice for us. We had a great time and mom was stunning, I have so many to share from these.

Boys
I have to say I was a little nervous for this shoot, Danielle is one of my first brides and she is a great photographer as well. (Daniellehobbsphotography.com) For some reason when I photograph other photographers I think, what if I have can't see that day (visually not literal) a reoccurring nightmare is that my camera will not click even if I push the button hard or I leave my camera on the other side of a hotel when I am suppose to be photographing my bride. Anyhow none of that happened, and we had so much fun and I was a little trigger happy, I just could not stop! Here are a few for you to peak at.

Happy Mothers Day!
THere will most likely be more photos tomorrow. But I am sitting here thinking about the day and wondering what was life like before Alexa? Every night she begs not to go to bed and says "Mommy sit" and grabs my neck and pulls it close to her face. I can feel her breath on my face and her cute little nose next to mine. I just want her curls to stay, the way she looks at me to stay. I love how she collects strange things around the house and hides our remote, and eats just the inside of the Oreo and leaves the rest somewhere we find it later. How she needs her blankie and Teddy, her new thing is to make a cake. Will I remember all of these things when she is older? I love you sweet bean and am so glad to be your mommy.

The Baileys
Mark and Kate's little girl has hit the three month mark! She is the belly in our Savannah Magazine Woman in Business Feature, if you haven't seen it yet, pick it up and vote for us for Savannah's Best! We were voted Savannah's Best Photographer last year and would love to get it again, you can also go on there website and download a form. I love each of our photographers because we have a common love and artistic eye but we all have different ways we like to shoot. I love Emmalines photos of the Baileys because they are so are different, and so fit there family. We look forward to seeing your sweet girl grow through the years and her many milestones.
