First Class, Up in the Sky

I leave in the morning on a 6 am flight to Spokane to photograph my great friend Julie Collins sisters wedding. (juliecollinsphotography.com)Julie is a great inspiration and one I wish I could see more. I am honored to photograph alongside such a talent! (and the girl has energy!) I am even more excited because I looked at my ticket and I am first class! I have never been in first class, just the one looking going darn, I wish I was here getting a glass a wine instead of in coach. (there will be no wine at 6 am!) Can't wait to talk shop and to see her family. Then it is off to Shreveport where I will see family and do a couple shoots. Take care! Lisa and Allison will be holding down the fort! Can not blog without some recent shoots and my friends have been worried since I haven't blogged or called.

Can't Get Enough

I do take alot of photos of little bean. I was looking back on some images from the summer when we would go to the south end of Tybee and swim in the tidal pools. She has grown so much, is it ok if I get upset that certain pjs that used to be long are short on her now? and that she could care less about Sesame Street and has moved onto Barney? That is one of many reasons I love what I do, it lets you capture that moment in time.

Amy and Nate

Amy and Nate were married at the Westin and had there reception there as well. They were such a nice family and the weather was beautiful. Cake by Custom Cakes and flowers by Amy Harvey, what a great combo for a great wedding.










And they had my favorite band Bobby and the Aristrocrats. SO So good, you can sit and watch them forever.

Catching Up

I have been trying to be good and blog all of my shoots. If I missed you I am sorry Allison has just been super woman color correcting them all and getting them to you before I have time to blog, go Allison!

15 long months

When I meet these brave men and woman that serve are country I am some what lost for words at how thankful I am. This father returned from 15 months of duty at a hospital at Baghdad. (spelling?) I just want to go up to them and hug them and let them know how much it means to me, there I go lost for words again.

Coming Home

I can not wait to get home at night to hear Alexas little pidder padder coming to the door saying MOMMY!! We then go outside and play in the sandbox and eat popsicles while the sun goes down, I wish I could stop time for this hour and put it in a corner of my brain to pull out later

Augusta

I have had several requests to travel for families. I went to Augusta the other day and photographed two beautiful fun families. Haleigh, a first grade teacher and aspiring photographer came along for the ride. She lives in Augusta as well and we met up, thanks Haleigh for coming along, and it was great to meet you. Also if you would like me to come to your city, I need four families, I will however be in Denver area in February, Tampa in January, and have had several requests for North Carolina.

Spa Day

Yesterday we closed the studio and went to have spa day. It was so much fun spending some time with Allison and Lisa, these two keep the studio running! It has been such a great year having these two. I really appreciate all of there hard work! (and friendship)

Mom came in with two pretty dresses, but when I saw her cute little rolls it seemed a shame to cover them up! I love this age, they stay still and they are just so squeezeable.
