Hermie the Crab

I love love love Ansley and Tracy, they have been my clients for awhile and turned into friends. If you need a mouth from the south, just tell Ansley, she has sent more people my way and I am so thankful. I will post some of cute little Lula tomorrow, she was born at just 28 weeks but now she is so big.

Busy Bee

I have been a photographing fool the last couple days, which I so enjoy. Once I get my groove on the day just flys. So I am posting just a couple from a few different sessions. I have more to share but if I do not get home my husband and daughter will
not be happy with me. I love the little boy missing his tooth.

Summer

A little behind on posting, been really busy this month traveling, photographing for Paula Deen ( I am so happy I could just fall over) I think I said something earlier in a earlier blog, but hey I am going to brag again anyhow. I have quite a few photos in her newest magazine and I have a little thing about me in the front of Savannah Magazine. I just feel like jumping! Anyhow coming back down to earth I photographed this cute little boy about a week and a half ago, isn't he just darling, he had the sweetest smile.

They will be lucky if I have anything in focus

Ashlin and JW were married last night at Wesley with a reception to follow at the Westin. They were the cutest families I have ever seen, and I have never seen so many people tear up at a wedding. The families had such a neat relationship, they hugged and cried I cried and hugged. I felt a little silly since I just met them, but it does make for great photos if I can take a second to wipe my eyes. We had a great time and everything was seamless. Congradulations, thanks for letting be a part of your special day. Kristen, one of the bridesmaids was my bride about a year ago, thanks for the recommendation!

The bridesmaids were so cute

Bean

We had such a good time tonight, Lisa, myself, and bean went to the beach for a practice shoot. Of course it was good excuse to go out there and get good photos of Alexa. One of my clients told me yesterday how happy she was to have these memories of her kids that I took, and I told her how sad it was I never took Alexa out for a shoot, I photograph her but never to just take her out. So I thought I might as well start today. Also in the news, I have about twelve pages in the upcoming issue of Paula Deens magazine so be sure to grab a copy, also there should be some work in Savannah Magazine coming out too, one of my most favorite clients Nino and Brandy bravely posed for me. Thank you!

Sweet Baby

The other day I was met with Kendall to photograph her cute little newborn for the first session of her year plan. She was a doll, cute fuzzy hair and just so sweet. Here are a few from that session.

Hello Summer

It was a warm one out today, sweating in the shade! Today I went and played with cute little Noah and his three sisters. Noah had the most darling face and kind eyes, and his sisters were stunners as well, beautiful blue eyes. I think that 14 months has to be my favorite age, they are so squeezable and still have all of that baby chub.

Renee and Jason

Rennee and Jason were married Satuday downtown with a beautiful reception at the Westin. Sebral Smith of sesevents.com made the day flawless, the cake was of course delicious coming from Custom Cakes and the Westin did a wonderful job with a cocktail hour followed by a wild fun night of dancing. Congradulations to Rennee and Jason! Here is a sneak peek at some photographs from Saturday.

Did you guess Thriller? THey might kill me for putting this up

Happy Fathers Day!

I hope everyone is having a great fathers day. So today, which I do everyday is think about my dad. I am so grateful to have such a great dad, he has taught me so many things and is a calming force when I hit some storms in life. He has taught me so many things here are a few-
be honest
be thankful
be kind
pray
you can do anything you set your mind to
work hard
he taught me to put oil in my car! ( car needs oil? who knew.)
he taught me measuring, made me do my homework over and over until it was not sloppy.
built me a swing set
rubbed my back at night when he came home after a long day at work
let me get jordash (is that the spelling) jeans when I was nine (they were so cool back then)
forgave me for the many dents I put in his car.
Best of all I always know how much he loves me, thank you dad! I love you!

Beach Day!

I have not seen this famiy in about three years, I can now base time on if I was pregnant or not, so I know it has been at least three. They have all grown up! Now that I have one child I am so impressed when people have four, maybe it gets easier the more you have since you are not in shock anymore how your life is forever changed. (for the good!) I really like these because to me they show the beauty of childhood and family, there is this great innocence in there faces and I just love capturing that.
