My Baby is Three Today

I had the best day today for Alexas third birthday, we walked, played red light green light. I can not believe three years have gone by. I used to wish for her to get older when she was very little. I could not wait for her to sit up, to crawl, to walk etc. now I just wish I could reverse it and start again. She is such a joy, I love the twinkle in her eye, I love the way she runs to me, I love her kisses. You all know that feeling, where you just want to hug them so tight that they melt into you. Also on a different subject, I tried and tried today to take photos of her, people often assume my child is easy to photograph. Far from it, I could not get her to look at me and smile at the same time. ugh. Notice in the first photo she is pulling my skirt and saying mommmmmmieeeee!
