Random Thoughts

Today I got up and went to the YMCA to exercise. I woke up about 7 am and tried to think of reasons not to go but I knew once it was over I would feel good. I kept thinking it was the longest hour ever, but, when it was done I felt really good. So I think I might do it again, plus I have found that it is getting a little tougher to eat like a pig and keep a figure. Oh and I thought it might take some stress away too. I have to say I fought it for awhile, would wonder what was wrong with my brother in law that he liked to work out so much. But I am seeing why, I have entered the twelve step program of exercise, I am not sure but I think the first step is admitting that I have a problem, and I do, I hate to exercise, but I am discovering that I like how I feel after.

Ok more random thoughts because I am feeling chatty, (I had today off)
why have they been out of apple and cinnamon oatmeal at Publix? it is hard to find these days

we were driving to Target tonight and I looked at Alexa and her face was a mess. I remember when I was in my early twenties I could not understand why moms let their kids go around with dirty mouths. I know why now, you just get tired and you have to
pick your battles. I am lucky if she puts cloths on.

Babies

I just adore Doris. I have photographed her pregnancy, her birth, and now we did some portraits of him at ten days. It is a pretty amazing to document peoples big moments in their life, especially the birth of their first child. I do not do a ton of births, in fact this is my third in almost two years but what a moment. I feel like I have always known Doris, she is going to be such a great mom!

Beach part 498

I think i have been to the beach that many times this year. What a lovely drive, I usually have a routine of calling my parents on the way home watch the sunset and look forward to seeing my baby. Here are some from the other night

Families

Fun fun, I love this time of day.

Home

We had my mom up for two weeks and boy do we miss her around here! It is so nice to have some family in town, besides the obvious of having a free babysitter, breakfast every morning, a clean house, I miss her company. We drove her back to Florida since my dad missed her too and would not let us keep her! I had a great time seeing my brother and my niece. I love the photo of him and my dad, my brother has been through some rough times and we are lucky to have parents who are anchors for us. This photo brings a little tear to my eye.

Where does the time go?

Am so behind on blogging, so for those who are waiting. (Harrisons) I will blog soon! although it might be after you see them.
We have been slammed, and I am tickled that so many people have shown such excitement to my other two great photographers. I think we finally have a great fit here and I am so happy to work with all the girls! (Whitney, Lisa, Emmaline, and Sarah you guys are great and I could not do it without you!) Here are a few from a recent family who drove from Statesboro.

Lovin' the Dogs

Had another successful day of Dog Days of Summer. We extended it one more day and had a great response. Do not worry if you missed it this year, we will do it again next summer! But if you want to bring your pet for a regular session, we can do that year around.

Fun

I was so happy when I pulled up to the house and realized I knew them, I just never knew their last name! We have had dinner together, played on the playground, so it was a nice surprise on a very hot humid day.
