Happy Anniversary!

Paige and Chris were one of my first wedding clients and almost six years to the day we were at it again taking photos of their growing family. I have been shifting through some old files from when I was in college and remembering why I love my job.
It is nice to look back to see your core, when you were less cynical, less bills!, before I thought about the business side of things. I just loved to photograph, and when I nail it I know it. I feel it and it is hard to write down, but it is this beautiful look into someones soul that photography can bring out. It is exciting to make this connection to people in a very short time period, to reach beyond the outside and capture that person. I feel like these do that, and when I am looking back on the years and years I have photographed I can still get that little tingle when my eye and my trigger finger all match up and a beautiful photograph emerges from that split second of time.
