Tim and Tabatha

I was so excited to photograph this couple. they had a intimate wedding on Tybee at this beautiful beach house and had about thirty family members. Tabatha was beautiful and so much fun to photograph, they were both really creative people and easy to take photos of. Here are a few from there wedding.

I love this one of her in her slip.

I thought the turtle was very Tybee, I could not resist

Happy Thanksgiving

Julies baby.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Definitely feeling that Christmas is here, lots of shoots,Christmas cards, etc. So thankful for Alison keeping up with all of the cards and editing. Here are a few from some recent sessions.

I love this photo, this little boy is so cute but gave me a good work out at the session. This moment happened just a second and was exactly what I was waiting for. The dad saw it at the same time, I kept thinking I hope I got that and it was in focus because you have to make sure your trigger finger is working along with your brain so you do not say oh that would have been a great shot, you have to anticipate and push that button.

Is he not the cutest thing you have ever seen?

THis little girl has the best personality, she is all legs and is so sweet and fun.

Love the Hair

Isn't this baby so pretty? Her mom called me stressing that her hair was falling out, now does this child look like she is hurting for hair?! I thought that was so funny, I had to give her a hard time. I have so enjoyed getting to know this family.

Little John

This little boy is so cute looks just like his dad John, he was the baby featured in an earlier post and has just sprouted up. Here are a few from his session.
I love this photo, the sun was too bright to open her eyes and I just thought so what if her eyes are closed I just love the joy
on her face.

Wow, I was so excited about this image I just said wow. I love that feeling I get when I see a photo and it takes my breath away. Of course my subjects were a little hard to get a bad photo of but wow. They were stunning. I was so tired from working all week and this morning I was up by six in major panic on how close Christmas is, and just wanted to bury my head under my blankets but I got up and did this shoot and I am so glad. As soon as these kids answered the door I knew it was going to be a good shoot. The little girl immediately made a little joke with me and I was right at ease and felt I had known them awhile. What a very nice family. They do not even look cold !

November

The other day I photographed the most beautiful baby. Her eyes are to die for, I met them at a birthday party and it is hard to keep your eyes off of hers! We had a great time and of course she was fast being 18 months but we were able to get these great shots of her with her mom, it was so cute how she scrunched up her nose.

It is raining babies

Heather thanking everyone, I love her moms hand on her belly.

learning new bar tricks

me with Thomas

Heathers mom, excited about being a grandma, can you tell?

Julie a great photographer and baby Thomas

Hannah, Emmalines pretty little girl

I went to the best baby shower last night for Heather Stewart, she is a great jewelry designer and is having her first baby next month. Julie, Emmaline, and Ikeda gave her a night time baby shower with a great dinner. All of those girls are so sweet and I just love hanging out with them, the whole crowd was filled with talented artist who worked all day at the Telfair Art Festival and Heather looked radiant. Here are a few from the shower. Oh I also need to mention Julie brought her baby Thomas from Spokane, what a doll. All this baby talk and baby holding is giving me the baby fever, well almost.

My Baby turned 21

21 Months, boo hoo, pretty soon I will have to start saying years. First it is weeks, you are counting the weeks, I remember someone would ask me how old she was and I would proudly say 12 weeks or 7 weeks, then you go to months, but come February, I will have to say years. Ugh, I guess if you said 53 months it would be pretty silly, but when I get to say months she still feels little to me. She has been coloring alot lately but she misses the paper and gets my wall, the leather chairs, my photos at the studio, I hate to tame the artist inside her but I like my walls and furniture. Here she is today in her two favorite moods, happy and fussy.

Watching the Light

Tonight I had a photoshoot with two of the sweetest kids. They were gorgeous, and my light went from good to fantastic. The clouds rolled in and oh the marsh was wonderful. I felt such a warmth as soon as I met the mom and the kids were so good. It was the perfect temperature as well. Here are a few, check out those eyes!

Where does time go?

Time just seems to be flying by, October went by in a flash. I had the honor of photographing a family in Effingham. The kids were so good and easy going. Here are a few from the session, I love the sun coming through her hair and I also love the way the little boy has his dads face.

Boo!

I had this great photographed composed in my mind of my beautiful child posing for me year after year in her Halloween costume. Well, coming up on two years old she had different ideas. I bought her the cutest fish outfit in Dallas and thought it would make the cutest photo, this is all I was able to do, she eventually ended up in a diaper. She still looks pretty even through all of the tears, she had a fun time and fell asleep next to me, I just love that.
